JEREMY KOSIOR-STOUT ACHIEVES IDEM CLASS III INDUSTRIAL WASTEWATER PRETREATMENT CERTIFICATION
Jeremy Kosior-Stout has successfully achieved his IDEM Class III Industrial Wastewater Pretreatment Certification. Jeremy has worked at the Water Reclamation Department as a wastewater shift operator since 2013.
On January 24th, 2018, a team from our Collections and Distribution Division participated in the Indiana American Water Works Association’s annual Hydrant Hysteria competition in Indianapolis. Nick Miller and Jerrin Ringle, coached by their supervisor Mark Geskey, competed with contestants from various Indiana communities to assemble a water hydrant as quickly as possible. The first rounds of competition took place on Wednesday morning with the two quickest teams competing for the championship that evening. Following the two heats in the morning, Nick and Jerrin qualified for the finals in the evening with the fastest time of 1 minute 42 seconds. Their competition was a team from Fort Wayne. Although they didn’t come home with a trophy, a second place finish for their first attempt is awesome!
Way to go, Nick & Jerrin!
