After careful consideration, VCU has decided to take prudent and proactive measures to avert COVID-19 taking a foothold within our community.  As a result, our customer lobby and drive-up will be closed starting Monday, March 16, 2020 until further notice.  Our 24-hr drop box will remain open.  We encourage all customers needing to make payment at our office to call ahead for exact account information and balances so it can be submitted through our 24-hr drop box.  Anyone making payment by cash needs to submit exact change, otherwise the remainder will be applied as a credit to your next bill.

We will not be distributing change at this time.

We encourage customers to utilize our online system during this time at  You can make payment or sign up for services from any mobile device, tablet or computer.

Customer Service is available by phone Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at 219-462-6174 ext. 7

All non-emergency in-home appointments will be postponed until further notice.  We will only be taking appointments for customers in need of immediate assistance, such as a burst pipe or sewer back-ups.
